OBJECT
OF THE GAME
You will win the game and become President when you obtain 270 electoral votes, or when you have the most electoral votes when an agreed upon time limit Is met. To accomplish this you must land on a space and successfully answer a trivia question. If you answer correctly, you win the number of electoral votes that state offers. Each state has a number listed in its space that shows the # of electoral votes.
RULES OF THE GAME
-
You may roll 1 or 2 dice on each turn as it may be advantageous to do so based on what state you wish to land on.
-
When you land on a space, the following 5 things can happen:
-
When you land on a space that nobody has won electoral votes for, and you answer a trivia question correctly, you win the electoral votes from that state ... place your blue or red marker on that space.
-
When you land on a space that you have already won, you may roll again.
-
When you land on a space that your opponent has won and that state has 18 or less electoral votes, your turn is over.
-
When you land on a space that your opponent has won and that state has 19 or more electoral votes, you may ask for a recount of that state. If you successfully answer 2 questions AND your opponent misses one question, you have won the recount and take control of those electoral votes. Remove your opponents Blue or Red "States Won Marker" and place your own on that space.
-
When you land on a space that is a Debate Results or Media Perception space, flip the card over and follow the directions on the card.
-
-
Once 35 states are won, you will stop rolling the dice. At this point In time, when it is your turn, you will move your game piece to the next state that has not yet been won. If you answer a question correctly, you win the electoral votes of that state.
